PDF Expert for Mac 2 both on our website and Mac AppStore is a one-time purchase, the cost is $79,99.

We’re planning to launch the all-new PDF Expert 3 for Mac that would be subscription-based (49.99$ a year). We've made it available to a limited number of users ahead of launch, that's the option your friend sees on the website.

Whilst the new product will be subscription-based, please be assured that all the features you had access to in the previous version will remain free for you, forever. However, the new features we add will be available via subscription only.

Basically, you will have the same app but with a new interface. You will be able to update once it's globally launched.

@gateoflunar 但是他们官网 Buy Now 还是买断制...而且我的 M1 PDF Expert 是几天前才官网安装的，并没有安装到 3.0 版本，官网也没有任何 3.0 版本的痕迹...不知道这什么操作。

机型：MacBook Pro M1
Readdle 官网下载 PDF Expert 安装包，安装完成后版本 2.5.15 ，进程架构显示 Apple，直接提示找到序列号并激活。

其实自带的电池健康管理就已经实现这个功能了。我的 Mac 升级到 10.15.5 之后，电池容量就一直被限制在 90%。
