definite article：定冠词，指用来表示所指名词是特定的、说话双方都知道的（或前文已提到、在特定语境中唯一明确的）冠词。英语中主要是 the。（英语里也存在“零冠词”用法，但最典型的定冠词是 the。）

词源 Etymology
